Who we are

RIGHT HERE SOLUTIONS PTY LTD trading as InviEat (ACN 702 788 083) collects your personal information when you respond to an event through our web application and makes it available to the event host, organiser, restaurant or food provider.

What we collect

We collect your name, email address, mobile number, dietary preferences, food allergies, dietary restrictions, RSVP response, and food related notes you choose to provide. Allergy and dietary information may constitute health information or reveal religious or philosophical beliefs, which are categories of sensitive information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We only collect this information with your consent.

Allergies & dietary restrictions

If you have a severe or potentially life-threatening allergy or other critical requirement, you must not rely solely on this service and should contact the event host, organiser, restaurant or food provider directly to confirm appropriate arrangements.

We do not prepare, supply or control the food or other arrangements for the event. Submitting an allergy, dietary requirement or food preference does not guarantee that it will be accommodated or that any food will be free from a particular allergen.

Please note that this application may not be free of errors, and information you submit may not always be recorded, transmitted or displayed accurately.

Why we collect it

We collect your information to: (a) provide it to the event host so they can plan food, seating and other arrangements; (b) send you one-time passcodes and event updates; and (c) use de-identified information to improve our service. We will not use your contact details for marketing or promotional messages.

Who we share it with

Your information will be made available to the event host, who may view, download or share it with caterers, restaurants, venues or other parties involved in the event. Their subsequent use or sharing of your information is outside our control. We will not sell or rent your information.

If you don't provide your information

You are not required to provide your information. However, if you do not, the event host may not be able to accommodate your dietary, accessibility or other requirements, or confirm your attendance.

Overseas storage

Your information is primarily stored on cloud servers located in the United States. Your information will also be stored on the Brevo emailing service servers located in the EU. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from Australian law. We take reasonable steps to protect your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal. If your information has already been shared with the event host or other parties, InviEat cannot recall it and cannot control their use or deletion of it. If you are not satisfied with our response to your privacy complaint, or if you believe we have not resolved your concern adequately, you have the right to make a formal complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) by visiting www.oaic.gov.au or telephoning 1300 363 992. About this service

InviEat is a tool for collecting and communicating event information. While we take reasonable steps to operate the service accurately and reliably, we cannot guarantee that information will always be recorded, transmitted, displayed or accessed without error, interruption or omission. Nothing in this notice limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InviEat and Right Here Solutions Pty Ltd will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense you incur as a result of using this service or submitting information through this form. This includes indirect or consequential loss, including any loss of profits, business or goodwill. InviEat is not liable for any loss arising from: (a) unauthorised access to, or disclosure or loss of, your information resulting from hacking, cyber-attack or other unauthorised third-party conduct, where InviEat has maintained reasonable security measures; (b) any error, defect or vulnerability in the service not caused by InviEat's negligence; or (c) the event host's, organiser's, caterer's or other food provider's own storage, use, sharing or disclosure of your information after receipt. Nothing in this notice limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Minors

We do not accept information submitted directly by persons under 18. If you are submitting information on behalf of a person under 18, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian.

Authorisation

You must not submit another person's personal information through this form unless you have their authority to do so.

Governing law

This notice is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
